The Wonders of Homeopathy

Men and women in Northern Ireland were able to acquire a fascinating insight into the wonders of homeopathic medicine at a presentation evening on Wednesday, September 8. The presentation was organised by the men and women behind Path To Recovery (PTR), a voluntarily organisation which offers free of charge homeopathic medicine, a warm welcome, and a listening ear to those who are feeling depressed, suicidal or bereaved.
The death of a loved one is some thing we all experience in our lives, but the sudden suicide of a relative or friend is frequently more tough.

Path to Recovery (PTR) was born out of the Living With Suicide programme when the organisers decided to develop on its success by altering the name to reflect how people have responded to homeopathic medicine and the listening ear therapy.
The group comprises of a group of retirees - including Moneymore homeopath Eileen Marshall and two individuals who have been bereaved through suicide – Bernie Wilkinson and Marie McKenna.

Overall the group has treated 90 folks more than the two years, from those who have attended the evenings at the drop-in centre, to attendees at events. This presentation evening was organised to co-incide with World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10 and World Mental Wellness Day on October 10.

Eileen Marshall told me everyone should learn much more about the advantages of homeopathic treatment.

“We’re folks of a caring nature and we’re all retired, so we just decided we wanted to aid other people,” she stated. “That’s how we began out. My ambition is to teach doctors about what homeopathic medicines can do, so we hope to attract medics, pharmacists and the lay individuals to this presentation evening.”
“Homeopathy is so safe and I feel that if you can get doctors involved then the understanding gets passed on,” she added.

Eileen explained that homeopathy, a program of option medicine which began more than 200 years ago, is all about keeping the mind and body healthy.
